I never thought I would be able to conceive

At 16 I suffered from irregular periods and after pushing my doctor for help, I diagnosed with PCOS. My doctor told me that I wouldn’t be able to have children and I spent my twenties with rock bottom self confidence believing that I would never get pregnant. But when I started trying for a family with my husband, it was easy, even though my cycles were 100+ days and I was fat.

Now, I get to support fat folks every day as a fat-positive fertility coach. I advocate for change in how fat people are treated on their fertility journey and get to be a parent to these two cheeky monkeys – Sebby and Isaac.
